The Silly Goose

Fell in love with The Silly Goose at concierge’s exhibition of quirky knickknacks and lifestyle items during Singapore Design Festival 2007.

I seem to have an affinity with hanged (hung?) geese.  Will explain later.

It costs S$17.00 . That is a tad pricey for a bookmark, but hey, the visual satisfaction totally makes it worth it!

There are other designs (see above image), aptly-named The Lonely Mermaid and The Word Thief. They’re designed by h-concept (a Japanese team), but you can purchase them locally (in Singapore) from concierge.

The only drawback?

It’s so nice…. I can’t bear to use it! -laughs-

Thus, there sits the Silly Goose on my desk in pristine packaging looking as clean and white as can be, while I continue to fumble with postcards and paper scraps to mark pages in my book.

I’m not sure who’s the silly goose now…
