While doing hat research for Design Fundamentals (Colour Cuttings), I came across FASHION MODE : 1500- 1954 in the library. Lots of yesteryear lithographs that make wonderful browsing. Matching gloves and hats and shoes and clutches.. veils and bows…what fun! These were some of the French fashion illustrations within:
